Calling All Local Businesses!The State College High School Alumni Association is coordinating a full-page display ad in the Centre Daily Times to kick off the 2010 State High homecoming events. This ad will run on Thursday, Sept. 30 in conjunction with the State College High Homecoming Parade that day and the football game on Friday, Oct. 1. Please show your support of State High by joining the list of businesses celebrating State High Homecoming 2010. Various ad sizes are available. We invite you to list all State High alums associated with your business and their graduation year in your ad. To participate, please contact Heather Fetterman at the Centre Daily Times at 814-231-4674 or e-mail hfetterm@centredaily.com by September 24. Please help us celebrate with the largest Alumni Band ever! The 2010 Homecoming festivities will kick off with the annual parade on Thursday, Sept. 30 and continue with the football game on Friday, Oct. 1. Following the game, everyone is invited to a reception in the High School Cafeteria.

"Doc" George - found a way to to get me into "Electronics 3" - believe I was only the second. His "think-out-of-the-box" teaching methods - and his never-ending sea stories - helped give me a terrific lead over my contemporaries in Air Force tech school; finished in two weeks what took most students twelve to fifteen."
